Veer Shah is a 22 year old writer, hiker and anthropologist, slow - travelling through life in search of meaning, stories, and silence.

Born and raised in Bombay, Veer grew up competing in tennis at an international level, which led him to live in Spain for several years. He later studied anthropology at university in California, and spent time working in the legal field in England - until the mountains called him towards a different kind of life.

Veer now spends his time walking, writing, and weaving together reflections on nature, culture, and the quiet art of travelling slowly, with intention. He is also a certified yoga instructor, with a deep interest in mindfulness and wellbeing.

When not hiking, Veer can be found exploring cozy pubs, reading in quaint coffee shops, practicing yoga in quiet corners of the world, or chasing tennis balls across whichever country he happens to be in.

His debut novel, Finding Solace in the Lake District, was released in August 2025. He is currently pursuing further anthropological studies in Germany, and is working on upcoming projects in the Lower Himalayas, the deserts of West India, and the northern mountains of Italy.
